Small yards mean less time mowing. Close proximity has always meant a great deal of noise for my neighbors. NOT ANYMORE! I received the Steele 24V Self-Propelled batery operated mower and it is simply wonderful! First, it came fully assembled! Next, the battery easily slips on or can be charged on the mower. Next, there is one lever for height adjustment and three different methods of grass discharge including mulching and will mow my entire yard with no problem. Finally, it has a steel mowing deck for safety and it is self-propelled to make mowing a snap! I was worried that the mower wouldn't have adequate power. However, after a two week vacation, this mower was still able to mow tall grass that was was nearly 4" tall with no problem at all. We got rid of our noisy, polluting gas mower and old gas can for this quiet, environmentally friendly, beauty that allows me to mow as early as I want. Now if I can only get... Figured if i don't like it after trying it out i could still return it. Turned out to be a great surprise! One charge is enough to mow the whole front and back yard (about 3500 sq ft) and performs wonderfully. So far so good!!! If anything, i wish the instruction (sticker) on the lawn mower itself is clearer and makes more sense... In a word, i am very happy with my purchase. Got this in less than 24 hours after ordering online. Wow. I put it together with little difficulty and was able to start mowing immediate since there was a bit of a charge in batter when sent. It mowed well, but suction wasn't as good as some of m older gas mowers. Left some pine needles and small leaves behind, but picked up clippings well. Self-prpoell was great getting up hills, but hard to maneuver when making sharp turns. Think it best to let go of self-propell as you enter a turn. Happy to have this machine as an alternative to the smelly, noisy gas mowers.Hamptonsgarden.com |
