The Bad: The Wheel Adjustment is terrible. As soon as I received this item, I thought the company was trying to play a role in a non-gasoline lawnmower activist society. Anyway, the battery was fully charged, I had set the mower on to the grass, it is not self propelled for this model SP-PM207DC. My yard's grass was basically already mowed, but I wanted to test this STEELE Cordless Mower to get to know it. Through this attempt, I noticed that wheels were way to low, and the mower seemed to lose power due to the blades so low. So I adjusted the wheels and noticed no difference? The height adjustment on our sample works smoothly and locks positively into place. The mower goes about its business without drama, making the same sounds at the same volume as our 2-year-old Black & Decker CMM1200. The Steele's plastic safety-interlock key is a little flimsy, but its folded shape should give it enough strength for the job. The two-step procedure to deploy the deadman switch seemed fussy until the neighbor kids showed a keen interest in this whirring new toy. We haven't used the bag or side discharge yet, but mulching works well. Just above the blade is a fan to help the clippings stay aloft as the straight blade, which is sharpened nearly to the center, chops and rechops them.
