Having ordered it after my gas powered mower died, my grass was around 8" high and very thick throughout my back yard. The mower made it through 3/4 of my yard when I stopped. There was still a charge, but as high as the grass was, I simply didn't want to try and finish it. There was a fair bit of clumping, and a very small amount of re-tracing, but I expected that given the height of the grass. The mower is heavy, but not too heavy, and weighs almost nothing without the battery(which is quite large). The battery can be charged either in the mower or separately, which is good as my shed doesn't have power. As for the charge, the indicator is on the right side of the handle just below the safety bar. This makes it very easy to see and know what your charge level is. It took a little longer to ship than I thought. It arrived mostly complete and was quick to set-up. Take care to read the instructions and charge the battery before the first use. Do not overcharge the battery. I've only used it once but it started right away and cut my lawn quickly. Instructions also say how to maintain the battery during the winter months when not in use. Happy with purchase. I tried to register the mower but there is no registration form and the website does not allow for online registration. Appears to come from a privately held family company that's been in business a long time. |
