I thought it wouldnt work too well on my lawn because it is really thick and at the time EXTREMELY long (since I couldnt mow it when my last mower broke). I decided to give it a shot after the salesmen told me if it didnt work like I wanted I could bring it back. Brought it home, charged it up for a few hours (should have really let it charge longer, but I was too excited to use it)and tried it out. Works AWESOME. Super quiet and cuts the grass way better than my last gas mower ever did. Extremely happy with this product. Its no longer a huge chore to mow my lawn. I used it a half a dozen times on our 1/3 acre lot with no issues in battery life whatsoever. It never came off the green status bar. Being a taller man, I do have a longer stride and fast walk. I had to learn to slow down a bit as I was mulching the lawn as I was noticing some missing blade of grass. Doing so seemed to have solved the issue.At for charging the battery, I removed the battery after every use and plugged the charger in with the use of a common electrcal timer. Allowing it to charge maybe 15 minutes a day and using the mower every 3-4 days. Seemed to keep the battery up without overcharging. Now the batteries have been removed (winter) and are being tended with a BatteryMinder in a 12V parallel setup vs 36 volt. It was $50 cheaper here on Amazon and I was in need of a push lawn mower.
