Have tall weeds and leaves covering yard. Mower had no problem cutting through everything. I used the bag, all the clipping were packed tightly in the bag, filling it completely. The handle is padded and comfortable to use. The handle is fixed in position which makes it easy to control the mower. I have a steep slope to mow so the fixed handle works well for me, but it takes up room when stowed. The switch is on the right hand side so your always holding it with your right hand. When you release the switch the mower stops immediately. If you are expecting quiet, this is not it. If you have a small yard or slopes and don't want to mess with gas this mower works well. It's relatively Quiet, light and the catcher is super easy to empty(there is also a plastic insertable "plug" if you'd like to mulch instead of using the catcher.) Yippeeee, no more annoying pull starting! I don't believe however, that this mower was made for larger yards, as I imagine the cord could possibly get in the way, But if you have a smaller yard, it's just the ticket! The mower also appeared to be brand new, so I'm not sure what parts were "reconditioned". A definite buy at 150 bucks! Although just somewhat lighter than my old 18 inch Toro, this maneuverable 14 incher is still much better for my small yard. It's also a nice product. The engine is quiet even for an electric, and it's 8 amps are more than the 6.5A in the my old 18in Toro, so the engine has some grunt when the grass gets thick. Plastic housing is light but stiff and should be durable. I would say this is a well engineered and well built product overall. If it suits your yard size (small), you will like it. Everything else already put together. Works fine. Just right for my tiny yard. I live in a townhouse, so don't have much yard. This is perfect and doesn't take up much space to store. If my yard was any bigger, I'd need a bigger mower though. The only thing that would make this better is if the amp were more. Then I could cut faster. However it has thrown off the back wheel three times due to the screw coming undone - and now the discharge shield also came off during use. The screws and a washer are lost somewhere in the lawn. I'll have to call to get a whole bunch of replacement parts now...very annoying. I guess I'll have to also get a large bottle of LockTite to secure the screws. Nice German built machine and it is still functioning well. It has two plastic gears which failed and I had to "rebuild" them because dispite the warrenty, I had to ship this heavy machine back to the factory to get two plastic gears replaced. That's the only complain I have on that machine. You can probably tell by now I try to stay green when it comes to lawn mower. Yes, the hand push mower does work! The reason I broke that machine was because I got lazy sometimes so the long grass would "overload" the machine. I needed something stronger. So I looked into an electric lawn mower. I did my homework and found many of them are somewhat flimsy. When I found this machine by GreenWorks, they sort of remind me of my Dyson vacuum cleaner in many ways after going to their website. I love adjusting all four wheels with only one handle. So easy. I would say this is very easy to push, much lighter than my small power mower I used to use. I can even push this electric mower with one hand without a problem. Like someone told me, if you can vacuum a floor you can use an electric lawn mower. And they were true. The electric cord was not a problem at all to me. Great warranty of 4 years also. None of the other's I have seen have this warranty. Don't miss the spark plugs, oil, gas, and headaches at all. You will not be disappointed with this mower. It was easy to finish assembling and since I already had a cord, I went right out and mowed. No more difficult to use than a vacuum cleaner. It did a fine job cutting even though this was the first cut of the season, and it rained heavily yesterday. Height adjusts with one easily changed lever. Lighter weight than my last mower which took gasoline. Quieter too. Very happy buyer.
